LEAX Falun
In June 2007 LEAX began the initial phase of the overtaking of Scania Falun. It is parts of Scania Falun´s business within machining that LEAX has taken over. Through the acquisition LEAX has broadened its production portfolio and got access to parts of Scania´s work within Lean Production.
LEAX Falun has a turnover (ongoing for 12 months) of approx. 500 MSEK and consists of around 150 employees. The company is responsible for complete manufacturing and assembly of propeller shafts. The company delivers more than 100 000 propeller shafts yearly. LEAX Falun also manufactures drive shafts, hub reduction units, end yokes, hub flanges, diff cases and other components and sub systems to the vehicle industry.
