LEAX Detmold was founded the 1st of April 2013 when LEAX acquired the business of Gebr Brinkmann GmbH. LEAX Detmold is both a contract manufacturer and a manufacturer of gears and own developed gearboxes.

The customers can be found in a variety of industries such as food, printing, commercial vehicles and construction equipment. The company is active in the range from one to contract manufacturing of 30 000/ year. The specialty is case hardening of gears and the following processes of precision turning and grinding.
