LEAX Skaraborg commissions new solar cell plant to reduce climate footprint

In a step to protect the environment and further improve our climate footprint, LEAX Skaraborg, together with the property owner, has put a newly installed solar cell system into operation. The plant, which is located on the roof of the factory, consists of 916 panels and is expected to produce 460 MWh per year, which corresponds to just over 10% of the factory’s energy needs.

“This is a big step for us in our quest to become more sustainable and reduce our impact on the environment,” says Kjell Carlsson, Site Manager at LEAX Skaraborg. “We are proud to be able to contribute to a greener future by using renewable energy.”

The new solar cell plant is part of LEAX Skaraborg’s long-term strategy for sustainability and energy efficiency. By investing in renewable energy, the company demonstrates its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable development.
