Commercial Vehicles – More than just a product

Commercial vehicles are largely considered capital goods or utility vehicles. The main drivers for commercial vehicle purchases are rational as more business decisions underlie purchases. Vehicle manufacturers tend to concentrate to a large extent on their core competencies; design, development, assembly/final assembly and marketing of vehicles, which means that a large part of the development and production of various systems and components in the vehicle is outsourced to suppliers such as LEAX.

Within Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry LEAX mainly focuses on heavy commercial trucks which currently constitute the Company’s main end market. The Company provides a broad product range to premium manufacturers of vehicles where propeller shafts, transmission components and drive shafts are some of the Company’s most common products. To deliver the advanced products that are in demand, LEAX strives to co-develop both existing and new solutions together with its customers.
